Usage & analytics

Usage answers one practical question:

is this line still an experiment, or has it become a real operating surface?

That is what the dashboard metrics are for.

Usage helps you see:

  • how much traffic the line is really getting
  • how much response volume it is generating
  • whether plan limits are becoming real constraints
  • whether multiple lines are now justified

The value of a higher tier is not abstract.

It becomes visible when the line:

  • is used consistently
  • hits limits
  • needs more space
  • needs more than one live line

That is why usage should drive upgrade decisions more than curiosity does.

Look for:

  • steady usage vs one-off spikes
  • one line doing all the work vs multiple lines each needing their own surface
  • whether lead capture keeps pace with conversation volume

If the line is busy but not useful, the answer is not automatically “upgrade”. Sometimes the answer is “tighten the line”.
