Manage subscription

Chatline uses Paddle as merchant of record.

That means Paddle handles:

  • charges
  • invoices
  • tax handling
  • billing portal actions

From the billing area you can:

  • upgrade or downgrade
  • change payment method
  • download invoices
  • update billing details
  • cancel the paid subscription
  • upgrade when the documented limits or line-count boundaries are already getting in the way
  • downgrade when the line footprint has genuinely shrunk

Plan changes should follow how the line is being used, not just optimism.

If you cancel a paid plan:

  • the current paid period remains active until its end
  • after that, the account falls back to the free tier
  • the free tier limits become the governing boundaries

Use this page as the practical billing surface, not as a place to infer product strategy.
